“Good afternoon youtubers. This is clay from clays ac and auto repair and clean motion motion here in grand rapids michigan. This video is helpful please send me some nice like my video most of all subscribe and share my videos to people today. We re gonna be clays ac.
An auto repair and turkey fryer assembly. And i m gonna give you some little pointers. That i read in the manual on how to put this thing together. And what you should do so you re gonna need a phillips screwdriver.
It looks like and some kind of pair of pliers and we ll start taking this thing out of the box and assembling it for you remember if anybody else can do it you can so we pretty much got everything on package. I wish that had some teflon tape here doesn t recommend it in the instructions. But i think it d be better so the first thing you re gonna do is you re gonna take the burner and you re gonna attach it to the the cutoff switch and you re gonna screw this into there so now once you have attached that part you just got to turn it snuggly. You don t have to if that s even a word.
I m not sure. But anyways you don t have to over tighten. It and then that then i ll be attached there and then your timer will turn that on and off then we ll go to the next step of the assembly and take special note. How the assembly is snugged up on there and then how mine is snugged up on there as well like the illustration now you re gonna take the thermal coupler and you re gonna loosen up the nut and we re gonna place it through this hole right here and i m gonna show you how that s probably gonna end up readjusting this once you get it installed and if you look at the burner.
Obviously the check mark on the left is the correct one the check mark on the dx is the wrong one you don t want your right on the flame. You want it on the base of the flame right there and then this shows you kind of how that sits up inside. There so we might have to go back and readjust this once we actually put it in there..
But now that we got the thermal coupler in there. We re gonna put them not the jam nut on there and then if you notice at the base of it it has another nut. So you can move it up. And then you ll be able to set your depth for your flame.
But that s pretty crucial right there. Because that s that turns that valve on and off inside. Here. Too.
The temperature of the tip of that so keep that in mind next. We re gonna attach the legs right there to the base of the breast so these are philip had screws and when you insert the screw back. There you re gonna have the nut go on there with the flat side towards the flat base here. It s ten millimeter nut.
You want to leave all these loose before you go to put on your ring. Because it may not fit properly. So you leave them a little bit loose for right now. And you re gonna put all three arms on when you re going to install the ring on here make sure that your your nut is on this side.
Because you won t be able to get a screwdriver in between here and i don t think it really matters if you put these on the inside to the outside. But the instructions show you to put them on the outside like this. So you re gonna push that out of the way and then you re gonna set that in there we re gonna install the rest of screws here and that s about it okay now that you ve got this all installed and you ve got all your screws in there you can tighten up the screws and the nuts..
I can say you can just use. The philips screwdriver. You really don t have to hold these with a wrench. I mean getting a finger tight it ain t like this thing s gonna be going 150 miles an hour.
So i don t think you have to worry too much about snugging them up and all that stuff okay so these t stand. Supports are actually the same except for one and notice. Where that notch is where your burner goes in you want this t stand support. Because this probably supports the controller.
I m guessing you re gonna want that in that location right there with that notch. And then the other two just standard ones go over there now we flip the unit back over and we re gonna install the burner and notice how we got our bracket there we also have our screws pointed out in the out coming from the outside inside. So we don t see our nuts. I mean.
It s just aesthetically pleasing take pride in what you do so now we re going to install the burner and we re going to use the two screws that are supplied there and it s going to fit underneath that bracket just like maybe slow and we care care. Sorry. So you re gonna go up is it like that get over there and then you re gonna spin it like i did and then your your your burner is gonna fix to the back. There you re gonna plug your screws in there so when you got the burner up in there you ll notice on the back side.
There s a nut you re gonna fit it in there and you re gonna tighten down that um. It actually you re gonna take this one off take this nut off here and you just slip into that bracket that hole right there and then i m gonna tighten it down that s gonna hold the burner in place well this is kind of crappy now you re supposed to install these two things right here in my box. Doesn t have them in there..
And you put them on there if your box has them in there thanks a lot river grill nevermind. I m an idiot today they re right there guess i should have unwrapped everything so you re gonna remove the screw on the bottom of the burner and attach this shield right here. So the next thing. We re gonna do is we re gonna take our handle that was attached to the thermometer.
Which was attached to the to the thing that goes through the turkey and we re gonna attach it to there hope you don t need instructions for that couple real quick pointers things that need to point out to you one. You don t want your oil to go over 325 degrees use your thermometer if it gets to 400 degrees. You might start a grease fire and it might explode that s the first thing the next thing is when you re grilling or your cooking or anything it doesn t really matter you always want to grill or cook on an even ground so level flat. Even ground because if you think about it.
And you re holding your ish like that well something s getting heat goes up it doesn t go sideways. They re diagonal people so keep that in mind don t be grilling on a hill anyways. We re gonna go and show you how to stick this thing in the turbo. Now we ve shoved that pole through its who they are out there and you show it inside there and then it comes out the top.
Then you can use that handle to pick it up put it inside grease warm up grease to 325 degrees. And you re good to go wait so we ve already used the turkey fryer. I m gonna show you guys how to light it make this video already once because i m kind of loop loop. Sometimes so we re gonna turn the gas on and turn that counterclockwise you want to turn your flame.
All the way up how you do it is all the way down is open so then you re gonna hold this you re gonna hear that it ll stay on for half a minute or so and then you can light your then you can light your flame usually have to use two hands hold that down light it it ll stay on so all the way counter all the way clockwise is full flame. All the way down is low flame just some tips that i learned while doing this you re gonna heat up your grease to 325 degrees. Generally when you stick your turkey in there the biggest thing about turkey..
Fryers is you cannot have any frozen part of turkey. So i remember i i recommend you leave your turkey sitting out you know for five or six hours to room temperature just to make sure it s some thought i set mine in the freezer or refrigerator for a week after it s frozen. Didn t totally on totally defrost. So sitting on the counter pretty good.
It was 18 pound. Turkey took me it took me approximately an hour. But most the time i couldn t get my oil. All the way up to 325 degrees.
And it cooked at about 300 degrees. So i think maybe a little bit longer if you re having that problem. I probably should have added another 20 minutes so instead of 62 minutes. I should have been like 115 you know like a hour and 15 minutes.
You know 85 minutes somewhere right around there i hope this video helped you out so like send me nice comments. Most of all share my videos subscribe to paige. Remember don t be the next of them be the first to you you can always do great things. If you want to have a great ” .
