Really we re getting towards performance being a little bit too low once we get to this chip. The game does run and sort of play correctly. But performance isn t great on it and in this case..

We re looking as we ll see in a moment. Once the test begins so in some scenes you re looking sort of mid 20s and that will sort of fall as we can see here we start dipping below 20 frames per second. And so you re getting into the realm. Where if you really want to play the game.
You can just about get by on it here we re seeing sort of 18 frames per second 15 on this larger more sort of scenic setting and the lighting effects again seemed to have an impact on performance here as we move into again this sort of rain swept scene 25 seconds going through the different lighting stages it sort of dips down 16 and again here you ll see low twenties and then as you go to night. The framerate drops again with more complex lighting and then into the sort of final stage. Here..

Where we have a more gameplay style scenario and through this test. I think the average is around 18 frames per second overall and but as we can see here we re starting to get down sort of 14 15 frames per second so even if you re playing on half vsync mode. Which would lock you at a maximum of 30 you re getting so that you you know less than half that so while you can play the game. Really the frame rates a little too low to really be considered particularly playable.
I m expecting hd 5000 to be probably the weakest of the chips tested 4400 i would imagine will actually outperform. It a little so we ll see that when we move on to that video shortly but in terms of reducing detailed we re at pretty much lowest detailed settings bar some things like water reflections which we could pull down to give us a little bit of a framerate boost. But really you re looking at sort of dropping resolution down say 800 by 600 and forcing your aspect ratio and which isn t really great you re going to end up with sort of a sub console level experience..

If you do that so it s a case of either except very low resolution gameplay or just accept that you re going to experience some choppy frame rates as you ll see through here in this sort of car chase section. We re starting to get down towards sort of regular 15 frames per second.
