pc master race builds This is a topic that many people are looking for. bluevelvetrestaurant.com is a channel providing useful information about learning, life, digital marketing and online courses …. it will help you have an overview and solid multi-faceted knowledge . Today, bluevelvetrestaurant.com would like to introduce to you The Glorious Build PC Master Race Custom Rig. Following along are instructions in the video below:
“Hey. What s up guys joker here today. I m gonna be walking you through through my glorious build which i have been working on for about the past month. A half here on the channel.
You know getting parts in ever. So slowly and you know kind of conceptualizing and putting everything together custom paintings some of the parts working with v1 technic at some of our fittings in here for things like the back plate fan grills as well as the ssd cover to make sure that everything in here. Really did fit to the pc master race colour aesthetic. Which is something i am a big fan of it s something that i adopted earlier this year for my channel colors and something i plan to stick with for quite a.
While so i ve wanted to do a pc master race theme and things have finally just come together in the right way that we could do this build the way that i wanted to do it so we re gonna go through all the parts here in this build and finish up with performance that we were seeing testing inside this system with a lot of the at least some of the biggest games of 2016. That i was a fan of and we will go through the average fps that we were seeing on this build. Which was trying to target 1080p gaming. Specifically.
So obviously being at pc master race theme. It had to fit that color aesthetic. So i had to get things in like custom cable extensions. Which cable mod were nice enough to provide they ve been helping a lot helping out a lot with some of the recent builds here on the channel.
And i will leave a link to their store down in the description below you know doing the custom cables was great you if they have their configurator on the website. So you can pick the colors of each individual sleeved cable and these are the nylon sleeved cables. So they look really nice and vibrant on camera. They are a little bit stiffer to work words.
But they do have paracord ones as well that i ve done videos with in the past on my brother s a pc upgrade. The black and green build that we had worked on but these things just look absolutely gorgeous on camera and you can ask let me know what you think of them down in the comments below. Also the custom fittings in here like you re seeing on the back plate and the the fan grooves and all that were supplied out by v1 tech. I worked with hassan over there on getting everything in here the way that i wanted it for this build for my to try to meet my vision of doing a pc master race.
Build and working with him was absolutely amazing. He was you know willing to you know change things up. We had gotten the original laid out and things weren t lining up perfectly and he said absolutely no problem went ahead and corrected that and then got a new one out right away as as well as adding in doing the ssd backplate and the 240 millimeter fan grille for the dual fans that i do have up at the front of the case so everything in here just tied together perfectly and if you are interested in getting any custom fittings for your build you can they have some preed. Some designs that they already have laid out over on their website.
But if you have anything custom that you want to do maybe something that you designed yourself or a logo or color scheme to kind of fit with the build that you re working on they will work with you to get it fitting to your build. Specifically and making. Sure everything fits perfectly inside whatever system you re working on so make sure you go hit up v1 check down in the comment and down in the description. If you want to get anything like i m using here in this build some of the other customizations.
I had to do on this build myself were painting the motherboard and the ram. If you remember recently. I did that video on painting. The motherboard heat sinks off of the asus 970 pro gaming aura.
Which was black and red out of the box. The heat. Sinks were all black with red accents on them. So.
I took those off put hit them with some primer as well as yellow engine enamel which matched along perfectly with the cables that we are using in here so really fitting to the theme. Nicely and the ram. Which is a data xpg. We ve got 16 gigabytes of ddr3 memory in here.
Clocked at 21 33. Megahertz. These were actually gold out of the box. Which i thought maybe would fit okay with it.
But once i put them in the system. And i saw it you know against the backdrop of the motherboard with the yellow heatsinks on the yellow cables. They kind of stood out as not really matching perfectly. So i ended up painting.
The heatsinks off of those as well for the case. Here. We were using the bitfenix aurora mid tower chassis with tempered glass side panels. Which i felt was really one of the only components.
Which kind of held this build back a little bit well. It does have the nice tempered glass side panels. Which look great having that sort of smoke look with the white leds. Illuminating from the inside of the final build some of the other components.
Like the top of the case. Which had very thin plastics and these little metal grills that were attached to it only secured by just small little tacks of glue it looked like was holding it on they actually came ended up coming separated in the middle. Just during the you know normal use of building the pc. I wasn t like you know banging it around or anything like that but they just came separated because i feel like that you know cuz they use the hot glue.
Which is kind of a cheap way to go they re skimping out and just using hot glue. I don t think that s something that should be used on any pc cases being manufactured really and with this case being over a hundred dollars to buy i felt it s kind of inexcusable to kind of make you know have shortcuts for something like that when you re including something like tempered glass side panels. Which is kind of more of a higher end item. So my fear is that a lot of the cost in the bitfenix aurora.
But the tempered glass side panels is coming from the class panels themselves rather than taking that you know the extra costs and investing in something like function. They ve put it more into the form factor of just you know having you know nice glass panels. While the rest of the case is kind of average and overall the rest of the build. I wouldn t the rest of the case.
I wouldn t really want to pay more than like 75 bucks for it. So you re really paying a hefty premium just to have glass side panels on it so you guys let me know what you think down in the comments below. If you think it s worth it paying the extra money for the glass side panels. Especially when there are other cases out.
There. Which are arguably doing it better like the fantex end to evolve. Which does cost more but at the end of the day they are doing the rest of the case much better. And if you re paying for a premium part like a chassis with glass panels on it.
Then i think you should just go. The extra mile and actually get a really well designed case that s made great from the ground up another thing with the case was that these screws that i got from mine for the tempered glass side panels actually came without any slots on them whatsoever. Which meant i couldn t tighten them or remove them with a flathead screwdriver like i ve seen on pretty much every tempered glass side panel case in the past. This is actually meant to come with slotted screws.
But the one that i received did not have them i was in touch with bitfenix and they said that it was just an anomaly in that it s something they worked out with the manufacturing. So that it won t affect people that are buying them in the future. But it was just you know another thing with this case that kind of held me back from really enjoying working inside of it and in the future. I m probably going to look to transplant.
This build over to another case probably in the very near future because i will be making some. Other changes as well out. Like the fx 83. 70.
So the cpu inside here is the amd fx 8350 240. X. With that breathing led on the reactor pump. Which looks absolutely amazing.
I was able to see the average temperature under full load. With i 264 at 50 degrees. Celsius and a max of 53. While sitting at 26 degrees.
Celsius. When idle. So the fx. 83.
70. Is running really cool thanks to the deep cool cooler. That s that s i just said cool a lot of times. But besides that though i am planning to switch this over to zen probably sometime in early 2017.
So the 83 70 is in there for now. I know some people are gonna say that s you know kind of a bottleneck for our rx 480. Which we are using in this build and i would agree with you you know. But so unless you can really find those 83 70s on a great deal right now for like 100 or less.
There are probably going to be better options out there for you on the cpu like intel i3 processors or you could just wait for zam like i said which we re hoping to see early in 2017 and i m planning to you can you know carry this build over and you know keep the pc master race aesthetic and kind of fit it into a new case. New motherboard and the and a zen cpu. Along with ddr4 memory. And just kind of keep everything else in here.
The same. Though so that s something i am going to be looking to do in the future. Like i mentioned there we are using a rx. 14.
Here this is the reference model that i ve been using and testing on the channel ever since it came out and we ve got the glorious backplate on there once again supplied out by v1 tech. Which i after i showed it off a couple times on twitter. One is one of the questions which i constantly see popping up. You know is that backplate going to limit the temperatures you know have an impact on the temperatures of the card personally did not see a large performance impact for the temperatures using this backplate.
The max temp that i saw after playing overwatch for about an hour was 77 degrees celsius. So really good temps. Here on the reference are x. 480.
The backplate. Didn t really didn t mess up the temps in any way. So i don t have any complaints about it they just look it just looks absolutely amazing you know the it has the radeon logo on the side for this card. So that s why i asked hassanover av1 tech to do the overhang where we ve got the pc master race lettering written across the side so that we didn t have any red lettering kind of clashing with the rest of the build and the last part in this build is our ssd.
Which was supplied out by a data. It s their su 800 512 gigabyte ssd. Which is sporting some really great retime s and competing with the reading rights of something like the samsung 850 evo what you re seeing a side by side comparison here where the while the samsung 850 evo did take the lead in the writes the a data su 800 was competing and even winning out and some of the read tests and when you compare that you know with the prot when you re considering the price. As well.
Where the a data su 800 is 129 dollars right now for their 512 gigabyte version that we re using here versus the samsung 850 500 gigabyte which is a hundred and sixty nine dollars. So it s coming in quite a bit less than what you are seeing on the samsung ssd and competing with it in our read and write speeds. Quite competitively the boot speed on this system after all was said and done was about 15 seconds. So really fast boots have no complaints whatsoever about the a data ssd so many thanks to them for hooking us up with that for this bill.
That was one of the last parts we needed along with the ram and they helped us finish everything off in here. Really nicely alright. But now that we got all of the parts out of the way. Let s go ahead and take a look at our average frame rate numbers testing at 1080p on all of these games.
We were testing up at ultra without anything like in a video game works and for anti aliasing. We would use fx. Aaa or sma. When it was available didn t use any motion blur in any of my testing on games or film grain things like that but besides those like little effects.
Which i feel kind of takes away from the visual side of the game everything else up in the in the game was cranked up to ultra in all of our games. That we did test here and only in a few of the games. Here like deus. Ex mankind divided the division and far cry primal.
Did we actually see this build falling below. 60. Fps. And the average is but even in the division far.
Cry primal. The average is 57. So still very playable on the average fps side of things. And if you were to able to go in there you know tweak some settings.
Maybe bring it down to high a little bit you could certainly see this build still being able to stay up over 60 frames per second on the averages. Even in those games. That did fall behind you could see games like doom on vulcan and overwatch really just go into the wall here over a hundred fps averages. So a very strong build here the glorious build as i m calling it so please let me know your thoughts down in the comments below on the glorious bills down you know what what would you have changed you know i know i know one of the complaints that we re gonna probably.
See is people saying. You know the 83 70 is holding it back a little bit. But like i said. We re gonna be switching it over to zen sometime in early 2017 and just keeping the overall aesthetic of the build which i m certainly looking forward to doing and then we can kind of look back.
And compare the numbers on zen versus. What we re seeing here now on the fx 83. 70. So i m gonna go ahead and get on out of here.
Guys. If you are interested in any of the parts that we are using here in this build. I will leave links over to amazon down in the description below as well as over to cable mod for the custom cables and v1 tech. Which supplied all of the custom glorious fittings that we have in here for the backplate.
The fan grill covers as well as the ssd. So many thanks to all the vendors that we re able to supply parts after this build could not have done it without you guys so i m gonna get out of here. And i ll catch you next time ” ..
