“Right guys. This john from magic tech review. Again so here we have this is is my zte zmax. So it s been in it s been in my case.
It is pretty grimy and dirty i just took it out so i didn t want to clean it yet clean it up yet so basically if you can kind of see here. It s kind of hard to see microphone holes. Because they re so tiny um. But yeah.
And so it s right there so you see how it s blocked up with a little bit of dust right there from my pocket from lint. So i actually use i actually use my lg tones that i have around my neck..
So i basically don t even know when this thing gets blocked up. But it does so right there if you can see right there so basically this would cause your phone to not be able to be you people not to be able to hear you or to be blocked off um. So if you ve ever had that situation where somebody s like i can t hear you i can t hear you you sound like you re muffled you sound like you re underwater. There s a lot of people actually throw away their phones or buy new phones.
And you can actually literally just stick a small needle inside the hole you can get compressed air and blow. It out or you can try to blow it out with your mouth so let s go ahead and i m gonna ah. See here i m gonna actually put the camera down here for a second and let s see if i can actually get this with a needle real quick. And so this is just like a sim sim tool.
Thing and i m actually gonna just stick. It there real quick and see there you are as you can see now um..
The microphone hole is now nice and clear obviously you know you can you know wipe down your phone or whatever. But now the microphone hole is definitely clear and you ll be able to be heard now so let s go ahead. And do that for the other one as well see here. Where we that so that s the other one right get us the noise canceling.
One that s the one on top. So that s the one when you re on speaker. So have you ever had have you ever said or heard of somebody saying. I had to put you on speakerphone to actually hear the call or so you can hear me um.
Well. That is because you have two microphones..
So. Usually the one at the bottom is for when you re actually talking on the phone regularly and then this top one right here is actually used when you have it on speakerphone or when you re have it on camera. So that s why that happens so you actually have two microphones on your phone. So so yeah guys if you re not if you re not able to be heard.
It s usually your microphone port so don t throw away your phone or don t get a new phone just because of a simple little silly microphone port so try that trick out take a little needle stick it in there don t stick it too far in there because you can damage. The actual microphone. So just kind of try to pluck some of that lint or dust or dirt or sand out. And if you can also use some compressed air or you can blow on it but either way that usually fixes the problem.
9 out of 10 times. I ve been working in the mobile industry..
