“There and welcome to lesson number one how to draw luke skywalker. So i m m gonna start with the eyes just don t the one on the left. We gonna draw a big circle starting from the top working our way down to the bottom. And then connect them back to the top again now here because we re gonna have the light coming in this direction.
I want to have a highlight on the top left corner of the eyes we re gonna draw a small circle up here and we re gonna color everything else didn t black okay now let s draw it the exact same eye on the right side starting at the top. I want to make sure that we start at the same height as on the left work our way down to the bottom. And then back up to the top again and again. We re going to draw that same highlight on the top left corner color everything else in black.
Okay. So i got the two eyes. Let s throw a little bit of eyebrow so on the left side here just above the eye. I m gonna draw a little curve starting from the outside towards the inside and we re gonna go back to the starting point just draw a curve that gets a little bit wider as we get towards the middle here.
I m just gonna close that gap off let s do the same thing. But flipped over on the right side. But here. We re gonna start on the inside of the face and draw to the outside.
We re going to draw that line angled up now from here. We re gonna tape her in and come to the point on the outside of the eyebrow. It s going down and draw the mouth so right about here. I want to draw a little smirk.
So we re just gonna shift the knob over to the left side so anything outside will curve in towards the middle up here. I ll just draw a little curve. A little bracket just to finish off the mouth on that side and just below the mouth. I m gonna draw a little lip line just a little curve just underneath there okay so on either side of the audio.
I want a starting point for the side of the temple. So just the left of this eye on the left. I m just gonna draw a point. We re moving over to the right and that same distance.
I wanted to create a point just on the right side of that right eye from here. We re gonna connect these two points with a curve going down to the chin. So what the chin to be roughly about here. You can see that i m using my hands to sort of measure things out so i m gonna start on the left side the curve towards my finger up there i m gonna take that line and continue all the way up to the right side.
If you need to pause. And just kind of take a break and then go back up again okay so from there we re gonna draw two curves on the outside of the head now this is gonna be the hair that flops over the ears. So i wanna draw curves so just up above this eyebrow and incur to the outside over here..
Let s start on the outside overlapping that line curving up above the eyebrow. Let me take that same thing and draw the same thing on the right side. So just above the igrow on the right and curve down intersecting that line. It just kind of curving out it s going to just polish that up there here now i m going to draw in the ears.
So you d see the lower lows of the ears just underneath this hair line. So up here. I m doing a little curve like going in towards the head. The same thing on the right you want to add a little bit of your detail.
Just have to come into the middle of this line. Here. Just drop a little curve. So that again on this side.
Just like that and draw a little bit of hair on the outside in the back behind the head. So beside this a year on the left. I drilled a little curve going out here gonna curve back in towards the head then go back out again and then come in and just tuck that in behind the head. Let s take that exact same thing and draw it on the right side.
So just the seventh year go under the ear gonna curve out curl back in curve out know this line. I m just gonna tuck in behind the head like so from here let s start by drawing in the top fringe of the hair. Here. So there s a kind of a part here so the hairs on this side on the left side above the eye.
We draw the curves going this way so curving this way over on this i m going to curve in the opposite direction. So from here. Let s curve down above the eyebrow. You see that the curls are going this way we draw one more time now from here we re gonna split and just do the opposite direction.
We re gonna do one big bang going towards that eyebrow then i m gonna go back up here. I m gonna come down above the eyebrow again and i take that point connect to that line there with a curve kind of like so now if we re here. We re gonna work our way around the side of the head up to the top now the top of the hair i m gonna locate right here and this is where the parts gonna be i m just gonna put a point there just a point of reference to let me know where i want to end up at the end now from here. If i want i start by drawing a curve going up.
And i would to left it up and up to the board of the right from here. It s going to pull these lines back into it now. This is the top of the head. This is where the split happens so this is where the direction of the hair changes from here.
I m going to curve down. Sort of an s shape to the side of the head here so on this point. I m curved and round up the top over here..
I m gonna come in and to swoop this out. And you see that this line is starting to mimic this line here. So what i want to do from this point. It s kurt in now take that line just connect with the side of that hair.
There. Let s do the almost the same thing on this side. So i m just going to curve and round off the top of the head starting up here and we rounding up the top of the head now we re gonna come down and then it ll just sort of go beside that line. There we re here.
I m just gonna do what i did on the left side is curve in and then just connect with the bottom of that hair. There okay so we ve got the head let s get into the body now normally with these chimi drawings. I start with the side of the hip. So let s start with that now with this body kind of bring the hips down about there so i m gonna start on the side on the left.
I m gonna curve out the side of the body on the left and then on the right. I ll do the same thing now you see i m leaving a gap up here and that s totally intention. I don t want to close that off because i want the arms to sort of blend in with the body. I m here gonna take these two points and curve and round that out now we re going to draw the overlapping shirt so on the right side here just write a center.
I m gonna draw a line diagonal across the body and up here. I m gonna go in the opposite direction. I m gonna take this line and duplicate it just beside it going up and then this line i m gonna duplicate it over on the left side here just going across like that okay forget the body here let s draw in the belt. Now.
I m going to draw a little bit of perspective. Here and we have a little box pouch on the side. So i can take this corner and code down them in the angle. And i move over to where this line is and draw the exact same line same length same direction connect those two points with a straight line now.
This is the top of the pouch. We re enjoy the front that it now so from this end on the left we draw a straight line coming down in this corner here we re gonna draw a straight line coming down you want to make sure that these are the same length. Because we want to create that angle here so i m gonna connect those two points with that same angle. That i have on the top coming down.
Now all i do is pull this line back just like i did up here and then just connect those two line. So we have a 3d box just on the hip. We re going to take these two top ends and connect it with a curve that goes like this now. This is the flap.
I m go ahead and draw a little button it ll circle like that now let s go to the middle here and i m drawing the belt buckle so on either side of the center. I draw two lines coming down connect it with a straight line going across now here. I m going to move up a little bit..
And just draw the belt strap. Going across behind that belt buckle continue on the right side. You know i m just gonna draw a straight line coming down and we want to draw the belt end we re gonna draw a little curve like a backwards see right there now let s draw the bottom part of the shirt. So we imagine the hips coming down this way.
It s gonna kind of flare out this way stuff on the corner of this box. It s gonna flare line out from this line or this corner. I m gonna draw a line diagonally. Connect those two points with a curve moves down and back up again.
Now this b. Is line. Here is gonna have to come down behind that belt. So i m just going to draw two lines side by side coming down behind that pouch let s draw the legs.
So he s wearing some baggy pants that get really tight around the ankles and the shins so we draw the top part before the knee first so the fun of the feet. I m gonna draw around here so the knees. I m draw probably up about here so starting on the outside. Here.
I m just gonna come in a little bit straw curve. That s draw curve on both sides. Okay. So.
He s having a little bit of a space a gap on the bottom here i m gonna draw a curve that goes towards the center and i ll leave a gap in the middle. Here too okay. So i want to close that off from here. I m gonna go up and in so you see that they re coming up like this i m gonna step in on the left side here so i could come in for the back of the calf over here on the right leg.
And do the same face of curving inwards. The bony end we draw the bottom of the feet so the feet i m gonna draw quite wide so i m in front of the toe kurz the heel you don t want to do that on both sides equal length from the front of this toe. I m curved and round out like that let s do the same thing on this side. So i want to come up to about here and round up the toe.
Now up here. I m just gonna move over to the right on the side of the leg and just curve in to that same thing on the right side. So you can see it s tapered and cinched in along here i m gonna draw some straps right from this toe and i m gonna curve a line coming down enough. We re gonna do that a couple of times just to fill this gap and so two lines up there we ll do the same thing on the right sort of line across and we ll follow that same curve.
All the way up to the top straw on the sole so along the bottom here i m gonna copy this line just above it just enjoy the sole there you go okay so we got that let s get it to the arms. I m gonna have this arm holding lightsaber this one s just gonna be in a fist ready to fight position. So up here let s start the shoulder..
So the shoulders going to start here. It s gonna come out to the hand the hand. I m gonna put right over here. So let s start here draw a curve point towards the wrist area from the wrist.
I m gonna draw a straight line coming down i m gonna take that point and just come in behind that body. But i m gonna get a little bit narrower as i get up to the top just like that let s try the same thing on the right side. So i m going to start up here coming down and out the draw straight line coming down. I m sort of trying to match up the same height here.
And then curving in under their body or behind the body there let s draw this hand so i m gonna draw the leg saber in an angle this way so if i use my pen to become like that so i m gonna draw on the thumb. First off here we draw a swirl so curving around and up like that okay so starting up here. Then do a little swirl like that at this point. I m going to curve in now.
This is this part of the hand here let s draw on some fingers so up here by the thumb. I m gonna draw one curve just tuck them behind that phone. I m drawn to the oval that gets tucked in behind the thumb in that finger so starting up here turn around let me do that one more time around like this now. Let s draw the handle of the lightsaber now again.
I want to draw on this angle. So every line that i draw have to be position that way so up here start with a line across the top and go up now these are going to determine the angle of the sword. These two lines here go across the top now from here. I m just going to step in a little bit and come in to that finger now this is going to continue down here okay.
I m gonna majan this line coming down here and close these off by connecting these two points with a curve and then for the bottom of the hand. It s gonna draw a curve tucking in underneath that sweet now for the lightsaber draw a line. So you can sort of see the angle of the sword coming up this way so i put my finger at the top here. I want to draw two straight lines side by side starting with the one on the left going into the lightsaber handle then right beside it equal length line even space and to finish it up.
We re just going to round the top off like so let s draw that exactly fist on this side. I m not going to put a lightsaber in just a plain fist starting at the top. We ll do a swirl and then from here. I m just gonna curve in the bottom edge of that hand.
We ll draw that first finger tucked in behind that thumb curve like this now starting up here and just below the thumb. We can draw second finger and then we ll draw a third finger tucked in behind now from here. I m just gonna tuck this in behind that sweet with like that and there we have it there s luke skywalker.
