Guys. What is up its teach here coming at you again with another video. And and i’ve had a lot of people request this because one a lot of play console.
And two because people have never really seen this map. Before so. This is crystal isles.
Now. This is pre release. So this is going to look a little bit different.
I know inevitably. I’m gonna get some people that say not sure bla bla bla. No no nobody has this map yet because nobody knows what it looks like but i can at least give you a pretty good idea because they’re not gonna change the map.
Very much now a lot of people think they might but i totally disagree i think that they’re gonna keep this map pretty similar to what it is it’s a very large like enormous map. I have never personally gone around on this map. So.
This is something that’s new to me. I have never experienced this so. We’ll see how it ends up for me.
I just wanted to like you know go around and show you guys so i’m spawning in the west zone. First thing that i notice about this map. And i i honestly have never played this.
But i kind of want to show you like a little mini tour there is unique biomes. I know this cuz. I’ve talked to a couple of my buddies about this there’s a blood swamp biome or a forest.
What are doing red swamp. You’ve got all kinds of crystals all over the map you’ve got these different colored waters with green algae moving through them. Or something.
Like that the water is much clearer. There appears to be some sort of cave over here yeah that’s 100 a cave. But let’s go and skip that for now because i want to go around the top here and show you a little bit about this map.
Because it looks amazing so i’m gonna kind of walk around this map getting my little two cents and show you what crystal isles looks like i again. I can’t say this enough. I do not think that they are gonna change very much about this map.
I think that it’s gonna be very similar to what they initially released it as so we’re in the west zone. Now so it looks like for the most part this zone is pretty open with a little bit swampy kind of plains like you can see there’s that i meet your dogs and stuff big huge river and it opens up into what appears to be a guero type system with these like white cliffs areas really kind of unique actually. These crystals are all over the place.
I know there are crystal wyverns and a lot of people try. And tell me that they’re gonna be they’re not gonna be there’s no and this is my call they’re not gonna be on the map simply due to the fact that uh the wild card is not gonna make this map. Super ope like they haven’t with every other map.
They have there’s a crystal wyvern down. There you can see him both a couple down here. So you can kind of see him you can tame these on the iso crystal isles however i do not think that wild card is gonna make them tamable just because you know that’s that’s a wild card thing for you i think that’s a cool screenshot it’s pretty wyvern so what you can do is you can kind of go around these areas.
See these giant crystals everywhere they’re super. Pretty i’m starting to notice. These things now this map is supposed to have every mod on it i don’t know if wild cards gonna let that happen i don’t think that they’re gonna let it happen at least.
But that’s my personal opinion. So this this west area seems to be a big swampland with a bunch of these wyverns. Flying all over the place here’s like this valve where o style.
Roc system. There’s gonna be some cool base locations on top of these i think i think someone’s gonna end up taking over like this location right here just being up on high that’s a neat little spot wow take that back this is a spot whoa okay. So that’s where i am right now just so you can see that’s pretty crazy that’s a neat little spot so if we’re gonna keep going around here.
And i’ll keep just you know flying around and showing you what it’s like maybe i’ll keep my game. A little low. So you can see the details and stuff like that looks like this is for the most part this western area is a huge open area.
There’s not too much unique out here. I suppose what i’m getting a feeling of a lot of crystals. I think maybe this is where like though the crystal wyvern spawn and maybe that’s it but you know that’s just my personal opinion cuz.
I see a bunch of them like they’re flying all over the ground around here. So that’s pretty cool alright. So we are moving on the outside of matt.
We have gotten to the desert zone. It looks like yeah. This is a hundred percent of a desert.
So it looks a little oasis out here. I’m gonna turn my game up up just a touch. So you can see a little bit more.
This is cool looking holy smokes look at that there’s gonna be some monster bases that get popped up over there wow. It’s crystals all over the map looks like this is the actual wyvern scar cuz those are real wyverns. Those are not crystal wyverns.
So that’s interesting so this must be the reference car. I assume that the nests are laid down. And is lit like little platforms yep that must be where there they are wyvern nest holes just so you can see on the map.
We’re about eighty five forty and that’s the location that we’re currently at this is a really neat idea for a wyvern star cuz. It’s not like one area. There’s a whole bunch of twists and turns and making it a little bit more difficult to get an egg.
That’s unique. I like that a lot cool alright so let’s keep moving so that’s that’s a unique area. I like that that’s that’s cool okay so that’s in the desert.
Didn’t didn’t think that that would be happening. But okay looks like it’s very similar to scorched earth in this area lots of kind of large platforms. What appears to be cavern is areas whoa.
What is this are those griffin’s and is that a griffin egg nest. What is happening here. What is this what they’re supposed to be like eggs here i see a nest can i have your eggs.
No these are like just like protection zones. Maybe oh that looks like an egg for sure. I hope.
I really hope that’s the case. I hope they have griffon egg nests that would be so cool. I don’t think they’re gonna bring that kind of stuff into the game.
Because you know ark. But still that’s really cool. I like that that would be so cool.
If that was the case. So it looks like this is the griffin scar. My goodness oh a wyvern scar and a griffin scar.
This is cool so i’ve never seen this before look at all of them they’re all over the place man this map is gonna be the new ragnarok. I’m telling you everyone’s gonna love this map just because it’s got so much like i mean look at look. We’re just looking at right here look at this it’s just super pretty i love it i mean.
It’s when i get new ideas. They’re not what i when i see new ideas like this that i get pretty excited because it’s like having a griffin scar is a genius idea. I think they’re gonna take away the eggs for the griffins.
But i still think it’s a really unique idea and it’s next to the wyvern scar. So that’s pretty cool let’s keep moving here. They can’t have too many teams over here that are not on i guess that all the other maps.
Because otherwise people are just if played as matt. So if you were to ask me they’ll probably shrink it down. Quite a bit all right so it looks like we’re making ourselves into a jungle area on the edge of this biome.
I’m gonna change it so we can actually see the time of day over here. While we’re in my mouse go i just lost my command for that that’s unfortunate. But it looks like that there’s a lot of unique customizable areas and i wonder what they’re gonna change for the official release of this map whoo we got to turn that camera down now woof duh.
There we go so that’s where the wyvern scar griffin scar. There’s the blood for us. We’re making our way over there again.
We’re kind of just stick them to the outside of the map. This is super pretty looks like we’re making our way into the genesis zone with these giant tree the genesis bog swamp. That’s this is very unique to genesis so this didn’t really exist.
Until genesis was here so these are new that is pretty cool can i make my way into this tree a little bit laggy still not perfect and i have my settings on high. So wow this will be a nice little rat hole. I really hope they have this buildable down here.
Because this would be like a nice little startup area nice that’s really unique i like that i like that a lot and i bet you you can build up on top of that tree too. So there’s gonna be some oh look it just like the bogs on here’s some floating islands for you this right. Here is a spot.
Oh doggy look at this got some floating islands over here hold the map. So you can see it so we’re in the bottom right corner. At about 85 85.
This is the bog biome. It looks like a little bit of water down in here and definitely the bog by them. This is what i’m excited about i really really hope they keep this in i really hope so there’s the blood for us.
We’ll go there in a second. But this is gonna be amazing if they keep this there’s gonna be so many awesome base spots and just in general everything like look at this for a baseball right here a literal floating island this map. If it’s kept the same is going to be the new pvp pve map.
Because you’ve got hundreds of base locations that are similar to this which were really hard to get to and you can actually defend it and that’s amazing you can’t really erase her bomb this so that makes me super excited pretty unique. But these are all the floating islands. I hope they don’t take this out.
But i have a feeling they’re gonna we’ll see though and you can kind of see that they go the entire way under here. So there are some really really unique locations down in here and of course. You could like probably put some glyph bodies down here underneath.
This section and make it work that way okay. Wow. This is a nice area.
I like this a lot these floating islands. This is cool given some islands down underneath them i don’t really want to go in the water. But you can see it’s super deep down there.
And i’m gonna go ahead and pass on going down. There and here’s something that people are really excited about this is the blood forest and man this is pretty oh that’s a cool screenshot. Actually.
Let’s go ahead. And yeah. That’s pretty okay um wow.
Look at these floating islands. Again. The backside of them.
Okay. So. This is the blood forest or whatever you want to call it red forest.
Something like that i’ve heard all about this never really played in here. But it’s really unique because everything’s good. I eat local eyes to color scheme for this red color and it’s super pretty minutes a little bit laggy so it’s got to be optimizing strips.
What they’re working on right now. Look at this got a basilisk down. There.
Just chillin. Okay. Oh.
Man. I like this i like. This a.
Lot. This is this map is enormous whoa that’s cool that lava. Yeah.
That’s actually flowing lava down the side of a mountain that’s a very extinction esque. I wonder if there are magma sewers in the middle of this that guarantee ark will take them out. But i bet you there’s a way into this i don’t know how so i’m not gonna try and act like oh those are phoenix’s there phoenix’s what so there’s a phoenix spawn up here this is amazing they have unique creature spawning and unique biomes.
I love it look at that cool so there’s the this area. I’m gonna keep going the outside of the map. Because it looks like this is kind of like the center point.
We’ve got our tundra zone. And what appears to be a autumn. Ask forest wow.
That’s cool that is pretty where do i end up got distracted yeah. I got distracted oh well this biome is super pretty looking my goodness look at those floating islands. Again we’re back out into another just localized and i like how they’re like separated based on this looks.
Like this is oh let. It’s dark over here. Hello.
Its gamma up just a little bit here so it looks like it’s constantly raining some sort of frozen thing that i can go into that’s cool that’s a really unique okay. I’m gonna take a picture of that that’s cool and this is this is funky. Yeah.
So this is the tundra biome. Lots of these little. Oh.
Oh. My goodness look at that that’s cool too. Looks.
Like these things are like shooting. Electricity around. Oh.
There must be a boss over here well there’s the broodmother so there’s a bruise mother. What appears to be two sons yeah. That’s that’s two souls for sure what happens.
If i killer do you think i get credit for killing the buried mother yep. You get element stuff so they’ll take that away that’s pretty unique are those liquefied stego. So this is the liquefied zone.
What a burin so there’s aberrant things here. That’s cool wow. This is cool funky funky funky stuff oofta.
I got a feel and they won’t keep this zone. It’s a personal opinion take that for what you will it looks to opie liquefied. Liquefied trees are these liquefied are jeez no closer normal are jeez that is a really cool zone.
Don’t know anything about it not gonna sit there for very long. So i don’t understand it alright. So now we are off into what appears to be a very large tundra zone holy crap.
It is just a huge flat tundra zone. My goodness oh okay. That’s cool it must just be like real life tumblr.
Where it’s supposed to be just like murder murder snow kinda maybe i don’t know alright definitely cold here taking a ton of damage if i was not in gcm mode got wolf spawns really pretty map though mic good is that a cave. That does appear to be a cave of some sort hello can i go inside this cave can okay. I probably shouldn’t venture.
Too much into caves. All right why not let’s just see what’s in here. There are multiple entrances crap.
Oh man. I can see some bri if this is buildable. I bet you there’s gonna be some crazy base locations down here because i’m already lost.
But again. I think there’ll be some good basis down here. Oh man.
This is cool again. Maybe won’t have this. See just like go out to the under the map.
Oh yeah. That’s the mesh. I don’t think that was purposeful.
I don’t think that was meant to be that way so maybe there won’t be a cave. They’re cool. Though we ended back up in that in the snow zone.
That’s nice okay so let’s go back over. Here. There’s like it looks.
Like like a game of thrones kind of snow ice wall. There’s the redwoods forests here’s the icebergs zone. This is pretty cool pretty unique.
I love these colors all these greens and blues and all that kind of cool stuff alright so this is crazy look at this redwoods huge redwoods forest. There are crystals literally everywhere that’s awesome so it means you have an aberration basically constant. I know there’s an aberration zone.
Again don’t know where it is not yet at least and that’s cool alright funky. I like it this isn’t it’s an enormous redwoods dome. There’s probably some crazy base spots down in here even like these islands out here that’ll be pretty nice flat island lots of cover.
What is this just our gc yeah. It’s just ours and davis okay. There’s a cave down over there yep that’s a cave.
Don’t i want to go down. There cuz. I already found out what happened the last cave.
This map is enormous my goodness they have almost done a full circle. It looks like all right so it opens back up into this plains area. No lag lag lag.
Lag. All right so. Here’s the plains again.
This is very typical arc. Kind of like grasslands bronto’s over some rexes. Oh charge stations.
That’s pretty cool that is pretty neat alright let’s see back in the swamp zone. So looks like we did that full circle. Let’s go to the middle and see what’s in there.
I’m curious now in the middle of this map. Oh that’s a titan it’s a floating type. I have rendered you go to look at all the bronto’s it’s like big daddy titan and all this bronto babies.
It’s a big gamut down a little bit again there we go much prettier wolf duh alright. So looks like we got a purple drop. Rex’s there’s a massive middle zone holy smokes um.
Yeah okay okay diggin it i don’t know where the aberration entrance is but man this is cool so anyways. This is kind of a show of the upper ground if you guys want to do a more in detailed tour go ahead and leave. Some comments below or send me some messages stuff like that be like you all want to see some more of the stuff.
But i figured i’d show you guys a little bit uh about this beautiful crystal isles map man that’s it’s a really cool area so anyways hopefully. This video helps you out and teach you .
