“Guys how are you doing. Today. It s dj aj. One on one with you you here today yes.
I ve been absent from youtube for a little bit of while been busy with life work friends family everything else that you can possibly imagine. But i am back here with a video today and i do have a few more videos coming in the very near future so. Hopefully all my subscribers will be happy that i m finally starting a post and content. And i m hoping again to get more regular on my videos.
But again coming to you today with an unboxing of the government new v65 l. M. Now i got this particular garment for my car hopefully to be better assistant than my iphone. So i ll actually be able to use this on longer trips.
Which again you know you can use your phone you can use you know the gps. The maps built in whatever you want to call them and also designated gps apps on your phone but the problem with that is then you have to rely on your phone have to have it plugged in or relied on battery life. And then again you really can t use your phone for a designated purpose like streaming music and everything else. And again you have to get a particular mount for your car or something like that and you know again.
It s just better off having in my opinion in my particular opinion about devices. It s better to have a designated gps. That you can keep in your vehicle. Whether it s stowed away in a glove box.
And then you get it out. Whenever you need it rather than constantly using your phone especially if you go on road trips. Or if your constant looking for things around town again that s just my personal opinion. I was able to pick this up and best buy.
What is it i think it s for like 120 something like that i ll try to find a link have it for you in the description. I got this before christmas. So obviously i m lacking a little bit on my unboxing videos..

Let s make sure that we see what s going on around the box. Here again looking here on the front says garmin nuvi 65 lm free lifetime maps updates so as long as you have this device and garmin is in business you will have up to date maps for this device. Six inch screen. As it says right over here.
As well as united states maps. Preloaded on this guy. As well as you can see a picture of the device right here on the front turning around to the back. We can see that it has just the list of everything that s on the device.
As well as into the picture for lifetime maps. Essential services stuff. Like that on the box. Here.
And again. You know you can do a few other nice things. Which is search you know your current amenities around you like places to eat and stuff like that so that might come handy come in handy as well as if you really want to see the size of the box yes. I will show them for everybody that wants to see it again just going to give you some pictures of what you can expect the device to be touchscreen so you can enter in your keyboard commands turn by turn of course swinging it around just says i can put it the right way new v65 lm.
Little triangle. The garner garmin garmin guru minh icon as well as a barcode at the bottom right and more detailed mumble jumble right there kind of lifts. It up and right here. We have the actual device sitting right in the front again.
This thing has a nice big touchscreen and that s what i loved about is that you know it does come very comparable with the newer vehicles. Nowadays that have the nice big touchscreens in with the gps built into the vehicles. But again being a separate device is quite nice quite light as well so again i can very well feel this you know being you know able to throw this in your glove box or in your purse. If you happen to be a girl and you know it s just boom boom.
There you go you re all set to go. But we ll get to this in a second to kind of give you guys a roundabout view of the actual device and i ll pull this cardboard. Again a little cardboard insert right in top there again all your mumbled accessory devices here s your little mount plastic..

Thing right there so again a little mount nothing special just a piece of plastic. But very useful if you re going to be using this you have your little sticky suction cup mount here for those of you that want to use this i have been reading about this. And you know i did have a gps in the past. An older one and these don t work particularly well especially and all you know especially if you live in a state.
Like i believe california is one of them. Where you can t have this mounted to your actual windshield because it obstructs your view. And it s actually illegal to do so people that are in california quote me on that if i am right i do believe that s what i heard though so again you can also look for like a bean bag you know for your so you can set it there or some sticky suction cup. Thing that actually might work quite a bit better than this actual not i might picking one of those up maybe i ll do in a boxing as well one of those for you guys.
But i will try this up first so again just the little mount suction cup plastic key thingy and there s where your other piece of plastic goes that i probably throw it here before anyway is what else do we got here we have the car charger so again we have your something that you d stick into your power outlet on your car right there you know cigarette lighter whatever you want to call it get focused here for you guys so again. And then that has a usb port right there on the bottom. So you can take that and plug it in keep your gps up and going. This gps also does have a battery in so.
It s nice if you re just going on short trips and you don t have to always look for that power cable. Every time not sure exactly how long it lasts. Though maybe i ll do a follow up review of this device and give you guys some more information again just a usb cable right here don t need to take that out of the package. I m sure you can tell that that is a usb cable.
There you go focus and so that s if you have just a usb port in your car. Plow than you workers do have them just plug this in boom. You re set to go same thing as the charging thing except it s round except this one s usb cable and again your instructions warranty information all that good stuff. I can only expect to be in here nothing all that fancy you would expect that to come with anything that you buy mostly anything so anyways here we go with the gps itself.
As you can see it has a lot of plastic around there i will remove that here for you guys so i m actually quite excited to get out there and start using this to see how good it really is i did have a tomtom. A few years back. I think i just ended up giving it to my parents because i didn t use it as much as i needed to cuz. I the phone then i really needed you know i was realizing.
It s like oh it would be nice to have a designated gps and of course. I was right. It s nice to have one of these so again..

Just a little welcome sticker product. Easy to use blah blah blah. Blah. All that on the front of the device.
As you can see you have the screen. Which is a matte finish. Which is nice so it s not always glaring as you can see there s my video light. So you are going to get a little bit of glare.
But not all that much not as much as you would come to expect right here on the bottom. It says garmin the name of the actual product. Nothing really on any one of the sides. Again this is all software controlled base you re going to have to do this via the touchscreen.
The majority. The inputs and everything else. But if we look here on the back just kind of hold this up here for you guys says garmin. Right.
There at the top has a speaker in the bottom left hand corner right. There as well as some fcc information. Qr code. There in the middle.
That s where you would mount that little plastic piece show it to you right here that thing goes right on the back in that circle there so you can mount it to your car mount and again usb port right there on the right side as well as an sd card. I m assuming that s if you want to add more storage to this device or actually put different maps on this device. If you happen to live in europe. As an example you can put more maps on here to make sure you re set to go if you happen travel to europe and you want to use this particular gps.
But then again guys on the outside not very much just a nice little design nice little simple design gps right here. I m looking at you guys over on my computer right down. There because i do have a preview monitor up again this is how it looks sighs my face right i guess if you guys wanted to compare it to my face..

But just the size of my hand. You know it s almost about the size of my hand just kind of give you guys an idea my hands aren t overly big. But they re big enough again. A nice wide six inch touch screen on that garmin gps again the garmin nuvi.
What is it saying on the box garmin nuvi 65. Lm because i can t remember model numbers very well so i hope you guys have enjoyed this unboxing at least. It gives you guys an idea of what comes in the box. There wasn t many varied there read a little bit there wasn t very many videos of this particular model on youtube and all the garmin models in this particular.
I think they have a 66 and then something else are pretty much the same. So i guess you can expect there to be the same you know accessories in each box. But i did want to give you guys an idea of what you get with this model it looks to be a very good model from what i ve seen as far as the reviews are concerned on amazon so i hope to bring a review to you guys of this particular model hopefully in the very near future again with me very new future can mean several months. So don t expect anything major to be coming.
