Which means all the online services alive you can add friends you can link your nintendo network ids and you can also access the eshop so with that being said for those you guys want to know how this is some work then look no further of course. If you have any questions about let’s get started so first up what you need to do is of course link to your nintendo network id.
So if you go to the top left hand corner you can click on your profile. I have two different ones here for different accounts but i have my main profile here so once you select that you of course have your curl or you can link your id straight from there. But if you scroll down to where it says add friends and it says in order to do this you need to link to a nintendo account.
So you click that and you follow the instructions of course. If you don’t have a nintendo account you can create one on the system. But if you do have one.
Then you can link an existing account so going through that process once you successfully linked it you’re going to be taken to this page.
Where it tells you about the features that you can use online. And you then scroll down to take a look at the online service. Which other reminder will at some point lace down the line.
I think in a few months be a paid service. But right now it is free to begin with this of course likes to play online usually online services. Get a free classic game each month course also get discounts and whatnot initial purchases basically that is the online service.
You could continue you go through and you are then returned to your friend page now there are different options here for adding friends one of the unfortunate.
Things is that they appear to have made a return to the friend code system. I don’t know why they did this because we you allow you to add via id. Like your nickname or your tag.
Or however. You want to kind of describe it. But it seems like they reverted to the friend code system so a little bit annoying.

So if i want to send you a friend request you can of course go here to look at it. But down below. You then have different ways to search for people.
So. The first option is to search by local users now if you select this so she got a rather interesting system because of course they want to take into account. The fact that if you’re say a friend’s house or an event.
Then you might want to add a friend and it might be loads of other people around so it might have trouble trying to find out who you want to act.
What you basically do is you select one of these four symbols. So let’s say i select the green diamond. Then the person that i wanted to add would also select green diamonds and then when you with this page.
Everyone that selected that shape will then show up here. So it basically allows you to filter the people that you’re searching for and hopefully find a person that you want to add so again the idea behind that being that if you’re in a mini situation then you know some of you could use green diamond. Something you could use like blue clover pink hearts yellow.
Spade etc and then that allows you to filter your results you didn’t find a person you want you select them you add them job done obviously right now switch to isn’t out so i have nobody in my community to add that story move it off there you can have the ability to search for users that you played with now of course to bear in mind.
There are no online games right now zero is a single player game. Merica is not for a while yet homeland has entrapped me just yet so for the time being i would have chose to go online just yet. But if you do go online.
And you randomly match make with someone and you like play with them you like that person was cool. Then you can go here you search for them. And then you can add them or send them a friend request from this section and the third and final option will be the way you do this predominantly and that is of course through friend code.
So if you have a friend they give you their friend code.
You search for the code using this and you then send them a request. Lakers. Then log on to system go to the receive friend request find it and then accept it of course once you’ve done that you can also go to the option down below and look at the extent friend request.
So if you decide you want to cancel a request or you decide that you know you want to check up on it and make sure that you actually sent it you can of course go. Here. There is also a friend suggestion section down below.
So.
If you have any friends on say miitomo or super mario. Run and they also have a nintendo switch then they will of course appear here admittedly right now i’m going to have absolutely nobody showing up because as mentioned switch is now just yet. But this is principally how they system will work once you’ve done that you can then go to your friends list.
It’ll tell you who’s online. What they’re playing and you can interact with people like that so that my friends is pretty much it that was a quick look at how adding friends works or nintendo. Switch.
As mentioned. We all want to get back to the friend code system. So i would highly recommend probably saving your friend code on your phone.
So you can remember it because they’re definitely not as easy to remember as game attacks or ids. But either way that is how it works link your accounts and your friends. And you can add via local region by recently played or by a friend code.
