“2013. Here and today s video as you can see in the title is on on this motel. Three foot lighted apple lightning cable. All right now honestly today i super hyped i got i picked on my iphones.
You know i got it delivered so this is being filmed same day i got my iphone 7 plus. All right so i ve had just a few hours to play with it here and you know i gotta say i m loving it. But what i wanted to go over is this accessory. So i was at best buy with my friend just chilling and looking around wasn t looking to buy anything initially and then i he was telling me about how these are pretty dope and out there they re fun.
And i was like hey you know i always wanted one of these i think they re pretty cool and you know i mean. It s obviously sort of a gimmick. You know what i mean. But it s one of those things where it s it s it s you know it s a deserving gimmick.
Okay. It s one of those things. Where you d be like oh okay. Alright.
I ll give you the extra money for that you know what i mean. It s not a useless gimmick in the sense. That even if it s functionally useless. It adds.
Some and adds something to your life okay so without talking too much here. Let s just go ahead and get into this so. See. This is a three foot cable.

So this is a lot shorter than my normal. Most of my other cables are six foot cables just because i like that extra length the good thing about this box of course is that no cutting is required there we go. Although i have a strong suspicion that i m sure you ve seen flosses unboxings of tech products. He would have already gone beast mode on this thing.
I m a little more patient. So the front is just obviously a picture. It s not actually the thing. The thing is inside yeah.
The box okay there we go so on the bottom here. We just have misses some fcc statements. That s very interesting so it s saying that it could cause some interference. Because of the way that it works now i don t remember if this cable or these type this particular cable.
Because i have seen this one line if this one uses il wire or if it uses leds. If use leds probably won t be an issue but if it does use al wire. Then there is very high chance of interference so that is a sensible warning. I m guessing.
But yeah try to open it to the side so i can get max access here okay here we are and of course. We re gonna do a live demo. So that s pretty much it you know there s not much in the box. All right.
It s okay let s see what the back says here made for all these notice doesn t say seven. But obviously. It s got a lightning connector. It s gonna work with the seven three stage.

Okay so i ll hear you say it s got three stages. Which is nice. I thought it was just flashing. But it actually does some indication.
Which is nice if you want to see real quick at a glance. How the charging is going number one is rapid charge so you have rapidly moving lights. You have finishing charge. Which is the second stage is just light slowed down and then fully charged shows no lights now i would have preferred that it just set to stationary light because if it s got no lights it could also mean that there s no power so again.
I think there s a little bit of a design fault there but overall. I think you know not bad for sure at least when it comes to indicating a quick charge versus finishing charge. Okay so pretty self explanatory. It s just a cable.
I will say that off not lit up. It s not the prettiest thing in the world in the end. Here is is definitely not the sexiest thing in the world. But obviously you have to remember that the components for powering.
The lights are in here. And if i take a quick look at this cable here hang on to this off camera. Yeah. I have my suspicions this is a el wire looks like a yale wire so electroluminescent wire.
Which means there has to be even if super tiny an inverter inside here which converts that low that low voltage. But higher current. But moderate current power that s coming to this from the usb charger. Into a high voltage low current source.

Which is what s going to power the yale wire. So we re gonna go ahead and i m a usb hub over here it s a mess. I know well you just go ahead and plug this here and we ll go ahead and cut the cable. So camel s not connected anything no power.
No i mean no lights or anything we ll take the phone go ahead and plug it in there. It is so we have this cable and is now indicating that let s see here. Sorry my phone is trying to sync with this computer. And this is not actually the computer.
I like to sync it with so. But yeah as you can see here this is ace. I don t know if this would be considered fast charge or phones at 82. So i would assume that it s doing fast charge.
I guess medium charge doesn t really have a distinction there so i ve unplugged. It and the cables. Still doing something so that s a little interesting i would hope that kid they re gonna shut off so i m gonna take my ipad now which is let me take a little peak here. Which is at 66.
See if i can get it to go over here. So it s 66. So this should definitely be fast charged. So we can confirm yes.
So so that is in fact. What fast charge looks like so if it was low charge or mean uh finishing charge. It would be that initial stage that we just saw so go ahead and unplug. It that s what finishing charge looks like that little inching along action.

And then obviously if it s full or unplugged. It ll just look like this so pretty good i wish they made this in a longer length. But i probably understand that there is some pipe power limitations to that considering how much power it takes to run that that data set up you know i i have to think that this has to be e l wire. But that s that s what i m thinking it has to be but anyway guys.
That s been my unboxing and overview of the basic mode au three foot lit lightning cable. But yeah nothing real complicated here just a neat little cable. It does actually work data transfer clearly works. It s my computer s hating.
Me that i m unplugging and plugging back into phone doesn t like that but this cable clearly does work it does it does definitely look pretty dope. I think. This is this is pretty cool and also being that it is and it s gotta be yell water you know if anyone guys in the comments can confirm. But i m almost positive this is elr.
But either way being e. I ll wire its light output is not that bright which is nice because you know obviously if it was some super bright leds or whatever having this in your room at night could be kind of a problem trying to sleep next to your bed or something. Like that. But this is pretty dim and in fact.
I m pretty sure that what lights out you would just be like a very very dull glow that d be barely visible unless you look directly at it so which is great because if you re waiting for your phone to charge you can just take a look at this and know exactly where the charging process oh excuse. Me. There you can know exactly where the charging process is going. But anyway guys thanks for watching that is all for this video.
