Make sure you know where you download the font file to don t have to get it from this website of course. But they have some good quality fonts here. I ll leave you a link in the description to get any of these fonts alright to this website and i m just gonna choose drift type and go ahead and download that now after you have downloaded that file you re gonna want to go to gimp the reason. We re opening this up is to make sure that gimp knows in the preferences.

What folder. They re grabbing our fonts from so what you re gonna want to do is go to edit preferences let s see here. I think went to my other monitor yeah. Edit preferences here we are you re gonna want to open up folders and you can see the fonts and here we go now what you re gonna want to do if you don t have this right here gimp.
2. Etc. Fonts comedy. You re gonna want to hit the white paper or actually you know what you re gonna want to hit the folder.

Here and go to a local disk program or local disk program files give two cetera fonts comedy and hit okay and then hit ok again. And there we go next step you re gonna want to do is open up your explorer and find where you downloaded your font file so i downloaded mine to my videos here and it s in a zip file and we re gonna want to do is go to that same folder. We just open up gimp so program files give to etc. Fonts excuse me fonts comedy.
And you re gonna want to drag your font file into this folder. Okay now you could see that i have done that it is in here drift type ttfn and just oprah close gimp and open. It again. And you should have that file okay i ve opened gimp back up and we re gonna want to go to file new.

So i could just show you that it s worked let s just do that and we re gonna want to go text. Here. And let s do drift type let s see here. Let s see if we need to find it in here.
You see drift type right there click on that and actually. I probably need a different background. Okay hold on messed up. We re just gonna make it white and make it bigger so you could see it let s make it dirty.
