What’s up guys jc here and i got a really cool video for you you guys. We’re gonna be talking about the total fortnight revenue earnings. So how money fortnight makes and how much they’ve made in the span of 2018.
It’s a ridiculous number. I saw an article about it this morning and i had to share it to you guys so if you guys do enjoy this video make sure you guys leave a like for everybody that leaves a like i’m gonna be adding another 10 victory rails to your stats.
So if you need 10 victory rolls hit me with a like and i’ll add them to your statistics. All right i got you so let’s get started so starting off you would think that a free to play game wouldn’t make that much money. I mean there are cosmetics.
But you will be astonished for how much money they actually make so their entire company valuation is 18 billion dollars. That’s a b not m.
A billion dollars 15 billion. So if they sold it right now if they sold fortnight right now it’d be worth about 15 billion dollars. A lot of people think.
It’s worth a lot more but that’s what it says so ingest in 2018 epic grossed three billion dollars in profit that’s not revenue that is just money that they’ve made that doesn’t count for any money they’ve given to people that doesn’t count for people they pay that is how much profit. They made which is ridiculous.
I can’t think about the revenue probably up to 10 billion 15 billion. It’s crazy to think that this free to play game can make three billion dollars in one year. That’s almost 300 to 400 million dollars a month that’s about 10 million to about 14 million a day.
So think about that you make 10 to 14 million dollars a day that is actually ridiculous on a free to play game. So another really interesting thing about the revenue is the money they’ve actually been earning from ios so just the iphone app ipad app whatever you play it on is about 12 3 million a day that’s it i didn’t know there was that many people playing on ios.
Which is ridiculous so just from ios just from the ios app. That’s about 37 million dollars a month. That is like ridiculous.
I had no idea that many freaking people are playing on ios. But that is crazy.
But we can’t track the total mobile revenue just because androids really hard to track since they didn’t do it through the android store. But the funny thing is so the google android store didn’t let for tonight actually put their app in that his fortnight wanted to do cross play and android. Didn’t let that happen so they actually had to put their app on there by themselves without androids help.
And it’s proven that google probably lost about fifty million dollars from not letting them do cross play. Which is a huge loss on google’s part kudos to fortnight for doing that god dang man.
So those are some numbers for you i really just want to let you guys know about that three a billion dollars a year four and i made on a free game this is all cosmetics this is ridiculous. What you think let me know what you guys think next year’s gonna be looking like four and i do you think the revenue is gonna go up do you think there’d love do you think their revenue is gonna go down.
What do you think i honestly in my personal opinion. I think the revenue will be study for a couple years.
I think it’ll start dying out maybe two years three years from now they kind of runs. Me of the minecraft kind of arrow. Where minecraft was pretty big for about two three years and then it started dying down.
It’s still popular today. But it’s not as big as it was about five years ago.
I think fortnight is definitely changed in the game in the gaming industry. It’s ridiculous how much money they can make with a free to play game. I think a lot of other companies are starting to kind of go towards how portland does it worth cosmetics and the game’s free and plus battle royale is pretty much the biggest trend as we speak so i think for and i will be around for a while so thank you guys so much for watching just wanted to kind of show you those numbers kind of wanted to inform you about.
