Everyone welcome back to my channel in todays video. I will talk about bio bio oil and any other types of oil that you should be using during pregnancy order to prevent stretch marks and if they actually work and what types of products. I have been using for the past six months or so ever since i found out that i was pregnant so if youre interested in hear more about how i use bio oil and any other different types of products then keep on watching this video.
If you have been following my channel for a long time you know that i am a big fan of bio oil. I have made a couple of videos on bio oil. I reviewed the product.
Many many times. I showed you guys how i use it with foundation. How i used it on my skin to clear acne.
How to clear scaring scarring that i had on my face. So you know that its a product that i really really like and that i really enjoy using. I do have my bottle here this one is almost empty.
I run out of it but the reason why im gonna talk about this today is because when i found that i was pregnant i instantly thought about bio oil and the fact that i will be using it on my belly in order to prevent stretch marks. A lot of people use it for that so i thought you know. This is gonna be great especially that i like it so much so i did that i actually finished this whole bottle.
And i really really enjoyed it its you know it has a thicker consistency than any other oil so it really really hydrates your belly. And you really feel like you know it will prevent stretch marks.
So i am 25 weeks at the moment and i dont have any stretch marks. Thank god i really really hope that my last trimester it will be good to me as well and that i will not be getting any stretch marks at the end. Im not sure if this is because of the fire oil to be honest or if its just genetic.
I have been reading a lot of articles on stretch marks and they do say that stretch marks in general are genetic. I am not necessarily prone to it because ive never really gone stretch marks anywhere else on my body. So.
But i still want to make sure that i prevent it as much as i can so i do apply oil on my and you know around the hips area and pretty much everywhere in that area whenever i go to bed at night after i take in my shower. So i have been using this a lot. But then when i went out and bought another bottle first of all the walmart next to my place for whatever reason they ran out and then i went somewhere else and i was looking at a bottle and i thought you know what i still have a long time to go in this pregnancy.
So im gonna buy the bigger bottle and it was around 19 or something dollars. I know you can get it for cheaper at costco. But i just didnt feel like going there next to my oil they had a different type of oil that he could use on your body and i have it here with me and this is the polymers cocoa butter formula skin therapy oil so they had necks they had this next to the bio oil.
And this was for this huge bottle ten dollars compared to the bio oil. Which was for the same amount was twenty dollars. So i said you know what im gonna give it a chance.
I mean ive never used this before i know how well bio oil works and if i say that this doesnt work. Im just gonna go ahead and purchase bio oil in like a week or so so i purchased mine and rosehip fragrance.
So if you do have this next to your place. I really really suggest if you get it get the one with the smell. The original one doesnt really smell like anything i just find a little bit plain.
But the rosehip fragrance. Really smells very very well so now every time. I smell it obviously i associated with my pregnancy.
I guess or i dont know with nighttime. I have a very calming and nice smell to it which i really really like so this oil right here is made for scars stretch marks. Dry damaged skin and even skin tone and aging skin um and its made with pure argan oil.
And its also dermatology theyre methodically tested. So i have been using this to be honest for the past month. And i use it every single night as you can see the bottle looks pretty much still full and it came out full to the rim.
Honestly so ive been using this much for past month. So the palmers oil is a little bit thinner and consistency if i were to compared. It to the bio oil.
But i really enjoy that at first i thought its gonna be an issue for me because i was so used to the bio oil. But honestly i do like it i think it applies very very well on the skin and it does hydrate your skin and very well whereas you know i mean by wall already does that and you know that i love it and this is not a video where im comparing both im not comparing them in a way like which one you should use or you should choose im just giving you maybe a different alternative to the bio oil thats a little bit more affordable.
If you dont want to spend money on the bio wall. Because it does get quite expensive. Especially during pregnancy.
You have to use a lot of it so i guess you know if you if you dont feel like spending. The 20 on a huge bottle. Then this is honestly a great alternative.
So im very happy that i chose this because i know i got to try something else i have never used this on my face. Because i do want to make sure i paid a lot of attention attention right now. And what i use on my skin.
My face basically because of the agony that i have due to the pregnancy. So i want to make sure i use a very minimal skin care just because you know im afraid that if i put something on my skin. Im gonna break out even more so i do i am very careful with that but i feel like whenever my pregnancy is gonna be finished and you know my hormones are gonna stabilize a little bit i will definitely go ahead and use this on my chin area.
And my cheeks because thats where i get a a lot of acne at the moment. And thats where a lot of the scaring is from that acne so i can maybe give you guys a review later on if i you know if i find a way to get rid of all of that with this oil right here that would be really amazing. Because i dunno bio oil works.
Very well ive tried it in the past and it works very well for me. But i want to see if i can find like i said this an old different alternative to it so i shall keep you guys posted with that so i also use this around different areas of my body.
I do get dry skin around my arms right here especially now being a little bit colder outside. I do tend to get a little bumps because its a dry skin so ive been using this around my arms to prevent that from happening. And has been working very well for me.
I honestly dont get them anymore. And my skin is very very soft and the same thing for my legs have tendency of getting dry legs in the winter months especially when it gets a little bit colder outside. I dont know i guess.
Its you know the temperature also if you put heating in your car. And everything the skin tends to become a lot drier. So i use this and you can honestly see it instantly like the skin is so dry that you kind of like sucks.
All the oil in it and then it just becomes very very moisturized and just even so i really really enjoy that im actually very excited to try this on my face was everything else cold hope you guys enjoyed this video like i said. Im not comparing necessarily both of them. I do think they both work very well i just thought i should give you guys a different alternative to the bio oil in regards to like stretch marks and dry skin.
Anything like that because thats what i have been using them for. But i do love book products equally like i said bio oil is a product that ive been living for many years now so it was an easy purchase for me. However i didnt want to try something that would maybe compete with that and also be a little bit more affordable.
