Guys. Today let’s break down the multiple editions of borderlands. 3.
Which would hopefully hopefully help you decide. Which edition. Is right for you between the standard deluxe super and collector’s edition.
This video is going to be focusing on the united states and the stores promotions that we have going on and retailers. As well make sure to follow me on twitter at hater hype. And with that let’s get right into it quick sidenote for pc players borderlands.
3. Will be an epic store exclusive for the first 6 months after release unfortunately then after that will be available on steam. So let’s start with the basic borderlands 3.
Standard edition.
It is 60 and will be available on pc digitally and then ps4 and xbox one both physically and digitally this edition is just the standard game. If you preorder this edition. You will get the gold weapon skins pack.
Which contains a gold weapon trinket in gold weapon skins. That you can apply to all guns in the game as for retail specific pre orders if you order on the playstation store you will also receive a borderlands 3 vs. 4 theme for your console next is the deluxe edition this edition is 1 above the previous one and cost 80 this edition includes everything the previous one has along with a retro cosmetic pack neon cosmetic pack gearbox cosmetic pack toy box weapon pack and an xp and loot drop boost mods so 20 more dollars for a few extra skins mods and weapons.
We haven’t gotten a good look at this yet. But i bet closer to release gearbox will release more images showing off what these actually look like and what you get the same playstation store applies for this one. As well the one above that is the super deluxe edition.
This one cost 100. But the pricing is only available for a limited time and after that will go up to one hundred and twenty dollars. According to the epics or the promotional pricing will last until september 17th so that is after the game is released.
But still is encouraging people to preorder this edition comes with everything below along with the season pass for the game.
Which in borderlands. Fashion will include four dlc packs and will also include the bus weapon skin battalion weapon trinket and battalion grenade mod and finally is the borderlands. 3.
Collector’s edition. This one is two hundred and fifty dollars and includes everything below along with the container. It will be in which is the diamond loot chest replica.
10 borderlands. 3. Character figurines a snap model of sanctuary.
3 for vault keychains a cloth galaxy map and 5 character art lithographs. This is only available at game stop and has already sold out unfortunately. The pr comments about this haven’t been too promising either that it will be restocked instead.
They are telling people to go to their local retailers and try to find a copy.
So we will just have to wait and see how long it will take them to make more copies if they will currently i would say the super deluxe edition. Is the best bang for your buck. If you are a big borderlands fan and know you will be buying the season.
Pass content anyways. If you are new to the franchise. I would probably just stick to the base game the season pass will be sold separately eventually.
But details have not been released yet on their website. It’ll probably cost around 30 dollars. That’s what they’ve done before maybe a little bit more expensive.
We could see it get more expensive because the content will be bigger. So another thing. We’ll just have to wait and see about one last thing is if you preorder the game make sure you sign up for the gearbox vip vault insider program.

Which will have you take three different steps. And then you unlock something in game once you’ve pre ordered it we’ll have you take the pre order survey. Which will ask you what platform you use which version you bought which country in which retailer once you do that make sure to sign in to shift.
When you actually play borderlands 3. And if you play within 13 days of release. You will get the early adopter pack.
Which gives a children of the vault weapon. 5. Golden keys and an echo device skin so i’ll link all that down below for you guys make sure you do that if you are pre ordering it works for any of the editions and it’s a nice little touch to get you back in the shift.
