Today, bluevelvetrestaurant.com would like to introduce to you Polaroid paper in the HP Sprocket?. Following along are instructions in the video below:
“Everyone this is ginny w. I just did a video about these zip and the the sprocket just comparing the photos that i printed from both of them so now m going to do something interesting. I m going to see if the polaroids ink paper works in the sprocket because i don t know where you know how it is where you live or anything. But where i live like the best buy that i shop at and stuff.
They have the polaroid zink paper. But they don t have any of the sprocket paper like i had to order this on best buy s website. So i can get my hands on the polaroids ink paper. Really fast so i m curious if i use the polaroids ink paper.
If i would still get the same effect. As you get with the actual hp paper like because remember in the last video. We did we did comparing the papers. This is the polaroid.
This is the hp and the hp paper in my opinion looked a lot better it looked more like an actual you know picture that would be printed out somewhere you know like walmart or something that looked more like that this one. Here. It looks like a really good picture also but it s a lot warmer. So i m curious if i use the polaroid paper in this sprocket.
If i will get that same warm effect like if it s in the paper and it s not the printer that s doing it so that s what we re going to do but in order to do that i m going to switch out my paper. I just loaded a whole bunch of hp paper in here. So what i m going to have to do is i m going to take this paper out put my polaroid paper in and i m going to have to reload. A polaroid barcode in there or no hp barcode in there so it ll recognize that paper is hp and not polar weight.
So we re going to try. And see if this works and as you see this paper here actually has the hp logo on the back this is the paper that i m taking out of the po or nut polaroid..
But the hp now this paper. I m taking out of my zip. Just has the zinc zero ink logo and this is the hp paper. So you can kind of see a big difference there on the back also the barcode for the hp has the hp logo on it right up here.
So that s how you know you have the right barcode. So i m going to load it in there just like i did like i was loading the paper before barcode facedown right up and we re going to see if this works and if it gives you the same effect. Okay got that loaded in there all right. I m going to print out the same exact photo that we did before market gets.
I m going to have a lot of pictures of them all right same picture. No effect. So we can see if we get the warm effect or the regular like the hp now i really am digging this app for the hp printer kind of like in it okay. So i have my picture all ready to go and let s print it let s see if it s going to take this paper.
My phone battery s going low. So let s see what happens. It is printing out the picture now let s doing the blue bar code again calibrating the printer anytime you load different paper into your printer like i just did you want to make sure that you use the barcode that is actually for the manufacturer of the printer. The barcode for the hp printer is the one that i need to use for this one if i was loading hp paper into my polaroid zip printer.
I would want to use the polaroid barcode that comes with the polaroid paper same with the lg pocket photo printer. I ve been asked that a lot yes you have to use the barcode that comes with your printer paper that s for your printer. So it just printed out the barcode again now it s putting out the picture. So let s see if this is going to turn out warm like the polaroid zip image.
Did or if it s going to be like the other one okay so from what i can tell it is definitely in the printer. That makes it warm..
So the polaroid zip. Did this one with the polaroid paper. This one is the hp with the polaroid paper. So there we go.
This is the hp with the hp paper. So there we go polaroid zip with the polaroid paper hp paper for the hp printer or is this. One page behind and lost it okay yeah. This one s hp paper printed on hp printer.
This one is polaroid paper printed on the hp printer getting confused with all these printers and doing all these comparisons. I think you can see a little bit of a difference. I don t know if it s my light. Though or not.
But this polaroid paper can i think it looks a little bit cooler. Actually like a kind of a cool tone. Once it comes out of the hp and the hp paper. Actually gives it kind of just a normal kind of color and the polaroid printer of course with the polaroid paper comes out warmer looking so i don t know.
But it does work the polaroid paper works in the hp sprocket printer as long as you use the hp blue bar code that you let you load this with your polaroid paper. So yes. It does work alright that s cool it works now should we test out the hp paper in the polaroid zip. Because a lot of people probably have the polaroids it let s do it let s test it out and see yeah we re going to print the same exact images here s the hp paper.
I m just leave my polaroid barcode. Which you see the polaroid barcode does not have any kind of hp logo on it or anything so..
This is this now. Let s load this in here. I get excited sorry. I ll just figure out which way this goes.
There we go turn this buck on pull word zip. Is on exit out of this app and actually go into the public eye tap. And i got a bluetooth ma printer again or see the differences between the apps. There the hp sprocket app actually connects to your printer through the app once you ve already paired it one time with your phone.
It s going to keep pairing with the printer through the app. It s going to ask you will you allow me to do this you know pair with your printer once you load your app. Now the polaroid app. Does not do that you have to actually go back to your bluetooth and connect it again once you ve turned your printer off so.
I m connecting it again connected now going back to the polaroid app. And i m going to print the same exact picture that i just printed. I m going to have lots of pictures of this on these cats okay we re going to do this one do that and print. It we re going to print one so let s see how this comes out of the polaroid zip with the hp paper.
If it still comes out warm sorry. I was looking at these pictures. It s printing out the blue bar code for the polaroid prayer. Just noticing little differences and stuff between the pictures and my belly s growling okay so it s not to print the picture out while we re waiting on the picture.
I do notice something about the hp printer. If you look closely up at the top of this picture..
Which you probably won t be able to see it. But there s just a hint of a blue line going across this edge right here. Just a hint and you can t even really see it unless you re actually looking at it we re looking for it. But on this polaroid printer.
You know the zip. It doesn t give you that kind of a blue line okay so using that paper. I don t know if my picture wasn t adjusted right or what but using the hp paper for the polaroid zip. I still got that warm effect.
It s warm kind of effect to it and i also got this white line down at the bottom. So it does work the hp paper does work in the polaroids. If it s just that i got this white kind of line down at the bottom of my paper. So yeah.
You still get that warm effect. So the printer does give you just a warm effect. If you don t edit your pictures any and the polaroid. I m not the polaroid.
But the hp sprocket doesn t give you like a warm affected just to me it looks cooler kind of a cooler effect. But not you know just more clear and natural looking that s how it looks to me alright that is it that is some more information about the zip and the sprocket. I hope you enjoyed it thanks. ” .
