There exists benevolent kind beings that make up the vast multiverse.
The turtle being one of them you see he existed in that macro verse. Along with it long before the concepts of time and space were introduced once the universe was created and how was that universe created well the turtle or mattern got a stomachache one day crawling from his shell to vomit out the entirety of the universe.
Really playing with that whole world turtle concept found in many creation myths in various cultures. Anyway. Mattern appears as a lifelong enemy of it going so far as to aid bill.

Anyway mattern not only acts as a guardian of his beam. But also as an agent of the white force for good within the dark tower series that represents wholeness unity and health acting opposite of the outer dark. A dark force led by the crimson king again we’re getting into territory that might be best served for a dark tower video.
So we’ll just be moving right along the turtle kind of represents. The ethereal goodness in the multiverse. A kind of withered soul that seeks to aid any manner of individual in need no matter.
How small they seem to be most likely is one of the most benevolent beings within the dark tower series and whole and i really hope they include them in some shape or form the new it movie because the more i think about it the more the cosmic horror element just makes it pretty great to read near the end though i wonder how they’d include motoring without completely befuddling. The audience at large as a matter of fact.
