3s and the j bird freedom. So we re gonna talk about the major reasons that you would get one over the other if you want any of the more minut details about them we did individual reviews of them spent a lot of time on those videos. And so we ll link those down below in the description or you can always go to our website. We provide a lot more written content to provide more color about the products.
There as well so if you all more details. We ve got a plenty of it for you for now we re gonna cover why you would get one over the other let s get to it okay so first up. Why would you get the j bird run well the first thing is these are true wireless headphones fully wireless headphones no cable or cord. That connects them the first fully wireless headphones from j bird so having a cord.
There is usually not that big of a deal. But when you don t have that cord anymore. And you just have fully wireless earphones. It really is like almost a liberating experience like when i go running with that or when i go working out with use headphones.
It s almost like weird because you re used to having a cable somewhere. And you don t have one anymore. So it s a really neat. I love having headphones that have no cable or cord whatsoever.
The second thing is they have a fine my buds feature. Which also is available on the freedom to but essentially you can gps locate your headphones. If you think that you lose them. So it ll show you on a map.
Within the j..
Bert app. Where you last connected them to your phone. So. That you can find them number three is that they have a quick charge feature so you re actually gonna charge them for like 15 minutes.
And you ll get an hour worth of playback time and if you use them for working out. Often you re probably gonna run into a scenario where they re dead. And you still want to use them at the gym. You just throw them in their charging cradle charge them for 15 minutes.
And you re good to go. And then last up you can use them for one ear. Listening. So you can just keep in the right ear bud.
And that way you can go running or you can use them in the car and you still really don t lose any of the functionality of the headphones and you know you don t have like a weird headphone dangling down. Because you still have a cable that connects them so you can just use the right ear bud. You still get the microphone. Still get pause play and answering calls and that way you don t have to use the left ear bud.
Because you know some runners may want to let in a little bit more sound. I m thinking of like limo drivers somebody that drives a lot maybe they just want one earbud at the end of the day. Though these are the winners when it comes to workouts right i mean they just reduce all of the distractions. And you re there to work out.
And you don t have to worry about a cable or a cord or anything. That s bogging you down so they re the winner for workouts. So then why would you get the jaybird x threes. Which actually are the headphones that i personally use i ve used them for over a year now every sing day when i workout and i really like them the first reason is i think that they have better sound isolation than the other two and they have a better fit.
Because they actually come with the comply of foam ear tips..
I like those i think they re great for fit sound isolation and comfort. So i m just gonna say better sound isolation and a better fit with the j. Bird x3 is the second thing is it s kind of related to that better audio quality. They just have obviously the better sound isolation creates more deep immersive sound.
And i just prefer the audio quality on the x. Threes also all three of them will work with the j bird app to customize the sound coming from the headphone so by default they have a very flat sound. But you can add more bass or lower mids and you can even search that app based on like genres of music. You re interested in and you can save a preset to the headphones.
You can also find sound settings from other people like myself. And you know famous athletes and things like that and you can save those to the headphones. So that way when you use them with a different device. They have your custom sound preferences.
It s pretty cool. It s actually altering the firmware of the headphones themselves. So all three can do that. But i do think the audio quality and x.
Threes. Is better next up the x 3s. Have a full inline remote and mic. I same thing on the freedom twos.
But it s a little bit smaller on the x rays. That s probably a minor point for people. But i like the remote better on the x 3s than i do on the freedom to z v n. Though they do the same thing for you and then on the jaybird run.
They really only have one button on each earbuds..
So the left one engages siri. The right one will be possibly answer and end calls. And then you can change that just a little bit. But ultimately you get more functionality out of the x 3s and the f twos.
And i just like the remote better on that the x threes also battery life is better on the x threes. We ve had them go all the way up to nine hours on a single charge pretty impressive considering they re relatively small earphones you re going to get four hours on a single charge with the run and about four hours again on freedom to so definitely solidly better battery life on those x 3s and then last up they re just cheaper. So they retail for a hundred and thirty dollars. The run are a hundred and eighty and the freedom twos are a hundred and fifty dollars and on top of that we see awesome deals on x rays.
All the time to where we see them right around 100 bucks. So they re at minimum fifty dollars cheaper than the freedom to s and eighty dollars cheaper then the run and if you want to see those deals. But i really think you ll like our website and our mobile app. So yeah the x threes are just cheaper. We re gonna say that they re the best of value. It s hard to deny that they re awesome headphones at a very affordable price point so then why would you get the f 2s.
Well the first reason is they re probably gonna be more comfortable for more people. So. The run over time are going to definitely fatigue your ear. Because you re pressing in they still have hard plastic and whatnot.
The x3 still use these little bit more harsh materials and the ear fins. And that sort of thing. Whereas. With the new j.
Bird freedom..
Twos. They use a very soft silicone material on the ear fins in the ear tips. Very similar to what you ve seen from bose on their sound sport. Headphones.
So. I do think people are probably find that a little bit more comfortable with the freedom twos also i mentioned they have that find my buds feature as well and they have a speedfit cord. Which all that means is that you can adjust quicker and more easily the length of the cord coming from the headphones. You can adjust the length on the x3s takes a little bit more time and that means you re not going to switch between links very quickly with the f2s you can do that very quickly.
So you can take a phone call and have that remote a little bit closer to your mouth. And then you can actually cinch them up right there tightly against your head. And that ll be better for running and in fact you know both the x rays and the freedom. Choose what you can wear them in that over ear design.
It s just that if a lot more easily adjustable with the freedom to so i think that speedfit cord is actually a big time feature. That might be the biggest reason actually that you get the freedom twos and then just in general if you look at the headphones. The freedom twos tend to be smaller. So people that were a lot of hats or helmets or they just have little bit more petite ears like my girlfriend she prefers the freedom liner because they re just smaller earphones and so they stick out less from her ear and all of that so if you have smaller ears or you just want smaller earphones.
The freedom twos or maybe. Even the original freedoms are the way to go. We re gonna say that the freedom to get the edge when it comes to all day use and perhaps if you re running and you don t want to spend up for the jaybird run. So that s it i ll link all of them down below in the description.
