” s it going everyone welcome back to another video in today s video. We will will be installing netflix on a nintendo switch. But before we get started with the i d like to mention that you do need lineage os already set up and running on your switch. And if you don t have this i do have a video that you can follow and have your switch set up with lineage os and then you can come back and follow the process with us here that being said if you re ready to go let s go ahead and get started.
Now. This is very important netflix hasn t been working really well you might get the error. That says that this device is incompatible you might also get netflix actually installed by the crashes immediately let me see let me tell you why i think. This is the problem.
Let s all do this let s all go into our menu. And then let s go into our settings tab. Once you go into settings. Then scroll.
All the way up and go to system. I ll explain why we re doing this and as soon as we get to where we need to be once you go into system tab go. All the way up and go into about tablet. And now that you re in about.

Tablet you see all the things that we installed android 81 point 0 lineage 15 point 1. But here s the most important part that i think is our netflix issue our kernel version is at four point nine point 109 plus now i do know that the latest version for netflix on android is on a kernel 50. And i don t know where the mix up is with our switch version out there. But we can t have a compatible version installed in ours.
So what leads me to believe is we need to find a version that is closer to this version right here so you should have the same as mine because we all downloaded it somewhere else. But why it s important to look in here. Because if you do have a different version. Then you would look for the version that s closer to yours as well so now that we know this information let s go ahead and get out and we re gonna want to go into our chrome tab or app.
I m sorry and then we re gonna want to go into this url area and we re gonna want to type in this netflix or spell it right and i like myself netflix four point nine point five apk now i ve already searched it so it s already pre loaded for me. But that s what you would put netflix four point nine point five apk so once you search that then you re gonna want to scroll down and look at this website that i m going to use right here. It has an orange a or looks like a triangle. But it looks like a to me and then it s called a peek a mirror and that the link says netflix four point nine point five billed 160 a pk by netflix.
It might be a different link. But i ll get to that as we go along as well so just make sure. It says. This it might say the arm v7 still click into that if it says that for you.

But go ahead and click on to it here like this and then you re gonna want to scroll down and it should say this if your link shows the arm. V7 version on the google search it ll say download apk right. Here if it says download apk right here go ahead and click on that. But if you reach the page that i have your cc available apks.
There s recent version down below and this is where we click into it you re gonna look at this little red link right here and you re gonna want to click into it and go into this page right here now this one says. The arm v7a. If you did do an initial search with google doing what i did the netflix four point nine point five apk. It might have taken you to a link with that little orange triangle.
It might have taken you here so either way we end up in the same area go ahead and scroll down and now we have our download apk option right here so i ll just for you to know if you got my page. That s good. If you got the other page that s good as well so now it says right here do you want to download this i m gonna go ahead and click yes. You might also encounter the issue or message saying that you need to allow unknown sources in order to install this if you do get this anywhere along this installation.
Then you do need to go into the settings. And follow the instructions saying you need to allow the unknown sources and go ahead and check and check off the unknown sources tab. But it didn t tell me because i ve already done it let s just go ahead and click on install and now we have netflix installed on our switch now the whole point is is does it work so i m gonna go ahead and click done. And then i m gonna get out of this page just so we don t have any issues with loading.

I m gonna hold it down and drag it down here now we have our netflix four point nine point five build and we should be able to go in and we go into here. It says that there s a new version application film do you want to update. You re gonna have to click cancel because i ll show you here if you click ok. It s gonna take you to the play store and we re gonna find out what we already know this app isn t compatible with your device anymore.
And that s the issue. So if you encounter this message just click on cancel and then now we re free to go into our sign in which i m gonna take off for a little bit and so i can sign in i am still here. But i m just signing it so sign in with yours and we can continue with the rest of the video. Which is using our netflix.
Okay so now i m signing in and everything went okay and here we go netflix is running on our switch. When i click no thanks on notifications and now we have netflix and the biggest. Part is now does it work so let s go ahead and let s do the tv show friends just so we can see a play. I m gonna go ahead and click play.
And if everything goes well it should load and play or netflix so there you go i do have sound. But i can t i can t really show it here. But it does have sound and everything s working just fine. But there you go guys everything worked fine for me netflix is running up and running.
