Guys. This is rajat gupta welcome to my channel in todays video. Wellll be discussing how to be backup.
Restore and manage your secure folder data in samsung cloud. So as you know our samsung phones have our most recent sons and both have secured folder that that can actually be used to actually separate out your apps your your personal data like your photos videos that you actually dont want sure you know everyone to see that so you can you know actually say that photos. Videos or even applications in your secure folder for only your personal viewing.
And not for everyone. And also that secure folder can also be used for keeping like two separate accounts of same application for example you can use facebook for your business. Account as well as personal accounts separately while you can set up facebook on your business account on your primary facebook application you can use your personal facebook account from your secure folder.
Similarly for gods a similarly for other applications. When you actually set up your samsung phone to actually automatic backup. It doesnt backup your secure folder data.
So thats why in this video. Well be discussing how to backup how to manually backup your secure holder to your samsung cloud so that you know you dont actually lose out all your saved content. Like photos.
Videos and applications. Which are already saved in your secure folder. So let.
Me set up my devices. And ill walk through how you can do that ok so this is my samsung. I say plus and lets start it actually accessing they are secure forward.
If you guys dont know you can actually pull this top menu and like pull it completely so. As you can see right here.
We have a secure folder option. If might be unchecked for you. And just selected.
So that you know once its actually enabled then you can actually go back to your apps screen and see you will have a secure folder app right there on your phone. So just click on that so as you can see it will actually ask you to actually open your secure folder using your authentication method. That you have access that you have enabled.
I have a like a pattern unlock as well as my fingerprint so im just gonna unlocks with my fingerprint. So. This is how your secure folder look like as you can see you can actually save all of your gallery.
Like your pictures your videos and maybe or set up your new email account for your personal or you know of some other use maybe pull out some application into your secure folders. So that you you can actually use for your like separate account. So lets search click on gallery and see like we dont have any data in it right now.
So why dont we get started and pull some data from my gallery. So there are two ways to do that either you can actually click on this button add files and and then select images from from the option below. And then you have like aurilla for all of your gallery.
Right there you can select the photo or video. And then you can import that photo video into your secure folder from here or the other ways actually go back to your gallery. First and in that case select on your photo and then on the option.
You see there is an option in the context menu to move this photo to secure folder. If you click on that it it will be moved to your secure folder click on the move button and unlock your phone and as you can see it. The photo has been moved to secure folder.
Similarly if i like move. This forward to my secure folder.
Just just go to this options and click on this move to secure folder button. And click on this move button and authorize. Either application your photo will be moved to secure folder.
So lets go back. And see and go back to gallery as you can see i do have couple of photos that i actually imported in secure folder and again if you click on add apps. You can actually add applications that i on your phone to this secure folder.
Now lets discuss how to backup your secure folder data to your samsung. Cloud. And the reason.
Is. Because. This data is actually not backed up automatically.
When you backup your phone. So that means. When your phone is actually backed up to samsung cloud this secure folder data is not backed up automatically.
So you have to do that manually so for that go back to secure folder. Again authorize. It and you see on top right.
There is an options click on that go to settings. So. This is.
At least secure folder settings. This menu can be accessed from your settings also without going to see for the first.
But thats how you can do it ill click on this backup and restore and you can see it is actually asking me to set up my samsung cloud account because i dont have it set up right now so im just gonna click it right now add account. This is my samson cloud account. Im just gonna go and insert.
My password here. Okay. Once.
You have done that click on the sign. In button. Your.
Samson cloud. Account will be added. And as you can see it is actually processing and when she click on the done button at the bottom you see your sons and cloud account has been added and this key sign at the bottom.
Is actually an indicator that you are in your secure folder. And as you can see my. Samson.
Cloud. Account. Is actually completely full right.
Now. 15. Gb.
Or 15. Gb.
Use you can see my previous video to actually know how you can actually delete this data so that you can you can actually sync mode. 8. Audio sunset cloud account but right now.
Im just gonna go and show you how to backup your secure folder. Data. Once you have set up your samsung cloud account you can use do you see there is an option of backup secure folder right there click on that and select all the data that you actually want to backup to your samson chloroform.
So for now. Im just gonna select all and if i click on this back up. Now button.
You see our samson cloud data. Our secure folder data will be backed up to our samson log. But its not backing up right now because i dont have enough space in samsa cloud.
But if you have it will be backed up for you and this is how you can do that next up is how to actually restore the data from sunset cloud. And this can be done through this option. Its called restore so we just click on that and here you can see i do have like a previous backup.
Which was done like last month. For in my science and cloud for of my secure folder and if you have more than one backup. You will see like more than one backup available.
But as since i have only one backup a secure folder in my samson cloud just select that and select the data which you actually want to backup. Once you have selected that you can click on this restore now button at the bottom your secure folder data from science and samson cloud will be restored on your phone and the last thing i watch actually want to talk about is actually deleting secur folder backup data so as you see i do have one backup already from last month and in case i want to delete that from my samsung account this is the option to do that and just click on delete secure folder a backup data and as you can see it is going to list me the backup. I have since i only have one backup right now which was done last time last month im just gonna click click delete and if you confirm that our backup will be deleted so if you go back to restore you see there is no backup data available because we just deleted that so as you saw you know managing your secure folder data in samsung.
