Hey guys. This is the sugar use and welcome back to my channel. And today.
Today. Im here with another disney classic story book review and on todays i have a book from the disney classic collection. So this is disneys the lion king.
So watching the series of timon and pumbaa is one of my you know favorite nostalgic memories that i have this movie is kind of one of my favorites. Though yeah lets go for it so. The storybook is kind of has a darker palette than the other storybooks that we have these two have loud colors.
But this one has the black color. Ive never seen it so on top where it says disney the lion king and the lion king is in the gold gloss. Its not the gloss.
But its kind of a shiny thing and on the exciton the frames. We have the other characters we have mufasa and sarabi. We have nala we have the zebras we have timon we have the elephants african elephant pigeons we have a scar sanjoy mange idaho centered benjy and edie i believe thats what the heine theme were we have the pumbaa rafiki.
We have salut. I remembers as it was voiced by mr bean every i mean it was kind of a surprise when i actually found out and in the middle. We have symbol so at the spine of the book as you can see it says disney classic collection.
The lion king and there is a book and s. So it is s. Because this books are by scholastic.
I dont know if i pronounced that right so at the back of the book. We can see a picture of rafiki meditating. I wish they had a lot of more characters.
I mean this should be filled with characters. I mean it would been really beautiful so in the middle. There is a little story line.
So if you want to read that please pause. The video. Down here we have the barcode and it says elastic and it says wwwscoschecom dot au and it says copyright 2019 disease enterprises inc all rights reserved so let us open the storybook and have a better look on the inside so as we open it on the very first page.
We see all of i mean three of the characters from disney. So i cant figure out most of them. But i do not know what this one is if you guys know it please let me know i mean all the others are easy to figure.
But that one is kind of confusing so it says this book belongs to and then we have the black color again it says disney classic collection.
The lion king. We have simba and we have scholastic and its headquarters and in here. We have the manufacturing details of the book.
So if i want to read that please pause. The video. So here begins.
The story so i would not be focusing on these written formats. If you want to read that please pause. The video.
Im just going to be focusing on the paper quality illustration. And a little bit of storyline. So these people are a little bit thinner than the paragon books that i used to review.
But a big few premium. Its really nice so we have the glossy pages and thankfully. This story book has the very beautiful which i like to call deluxe illustrations.
Which are very beautifully illustrated and have depth and color and story. There there are a lot of lights reflecting because those pages are really glossy. So yeah.
I have reviewed a classic story before lion king so if it have not checked it out please check that out first because you would be able to tell what im talking about the illustrations after that so. Those that story book was made in that old school classic illustration. But theres one hour like the newer ones.
Which resemble more to the movie. I would say so the rafiki has shown the newborn prince cub to the kingdom and this is scar. Who is the brother of the king mufasa and he thinks that mufasa is newborn is the that you wont ever be able to be a king.
So you know the rivalry between the brothers in the wild as well so heres mufasa teasing simba teaching simba. How to you know hunt and this illustrations are really beautiful i mean boy as soon as you see it you can tell that theyre rich in colors. They have shadows.
They have you know that feel that gives you that resembles more of the movie and give you that nostalgic feel as if youre watching the movie. I mean this scene is available in the classic storybook as well. But it is kind of more like a two dimension.
And i mean this is two dimension as well but kind of gives you that effect that this characters in the front. And this is a little bit back. So heres nala taking a path as they say so this was beautiful i love this scene.
I mean we never saw this scene in the other story box.
So here simba and nala heres a zoo. I loved the angles. They have taken and which are really newer than the classic storybooks.
I would say so thats really beautiful so heres tim biasing that he cant wait to be king. So unfortunately they fall down into this shadow places. Where mufasa simbas father has told him never to go and theyre live.
The evil heinens. So yeah. There are bens eyes sanjay and ed yeah.
So i didnt know that one of these were girls. I mean i figured that out from the movie the real life one i dont still know in the cartoon. One of them were a girl so yeah here is mufasa coming for their rescue.
Theres scar. Disappointed because this was what he had planned to kill simba yeah. So that he could be king so heres mufasa being a wise king and are very nice loving dad well who give who gave simba a little hard time.
But then told him about the life and stuff. So. I was very angry and disappointed at the hina.
So their plan was to take simba to disgorge and send down the wildebeests so that he would get trampled and get killed. But you know its not just that i would say that was that and he also wanted to kill his brother mufasa. So basically he wanted to send both of them down there.
But then mufasa saves simba. And he was about to be saved well. But then scar just pushed him down the gorge and hes dead.
Oh. My god this scene as a so heartbreaking. I mean even in the real life movie.
I was like no i mean even though i knew that mufasa is gonna die and we were getting best scene. It was kind of very emotional because watching this as a kid. I mean i did not have that much emotion.
But now as a grown up as i see it it kind of gives me a lot of emotions. And even more that i watched it in it as a kid as well so. The highness were sent to kill simba and they think that since he has fallen down into the thorns hes dead.
But that he is not a meerkat and a wart wart hog or something pumbaa saves.
Simba and teaches him a secret of life that is hakuna matata and they eat bugs. I wonder like how would a lion be so healthy. If he has only grown up eating a bug.
I mean doesnt does he not need the nutrition. But then bugs do have a lot of protein. I would say i dont know its kind of weird so yeah one day nala comes in to hunting.
And shes kind of hunting simbas friend and then they im sorry if im turning the pages real quick. But then they figured out that theyre friends. And this is kind of getting weird and simba is told to return back i mean asked to return back.
But at the same. But does not want to he does not want to because hes hiding a very terrible secret that he has at the hand and killing of his father. Which was not true.
I mean. Which is kind of fabricated in his head by his uncle. And then rafiki shows that he is the actual king and all so he returns back.
And is ready to attack pride. So as he was trying to attack kind of plays a very emotional game with him saying that he killed his father and he kind of breaks his confidence down but as scar reveals that mofo he killed mufasa dance simba kind of jumps back at him and kind of pushes and backed down from there now there is a scene where were highness are kind of eating scar. I mean not actually brutally eating.
But that the movie shows that so after the fight. Im. Theres a huge fire they the rain falls down.
And everything is quiet and simba is the new king. And they have a newly born cub. Which is a female which we have a part two of so if you have not watched the part two as well i have linked it down in the description below so they dont actually live in happily ever after so the character is once again and that ends.
The story. So here is my review to the disneys the lion king. Which is like a very beautiful movie that disney has produced so yeah i have link down the classic story book reviews of the both deforest.
The lion king and the lion king in the description below make sure to check them also let me know what you think about the storyline of the lion king and also about the lion king live action movie. So. Yeah.
